The power of your mind is a very useful tool in improving your health and well-being as demonstrated by successful businessmen, famous athletes and sportsmen.
There are many mind skills techniques that are being peddled by various experts to promote healing and change in this world but therapeutic guided imagery is probably the most effective technique so far.
All the other techniques used guided imagery as the language to ‘communicate‘ to that portion of your brain with your body to bring desired changes in the body.

- Decide on what you want to achieve. Be detailed about your objective so your subconscious mind will be able to clearly get the message.
- Write down what you want to learn from this activity as this will also help in getting information from the subconscious mind.
- Choose a quiet place where you can meditate and spend time alone with the universe.
- Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down and take a deep breath.. This will help you to relax and focus your attention in the inner world of your imagination.
- Visualize vividly what you want in detail. This is important because you cannot tell the difference between imagined and real.
- Work hard to achieve your goals so they come to you easily and express gratitude for those blessings that you have already received.
- Learn from past and others’ mistakes. Learn from people so you don’t make the same mistakes they had.
- Have a record of your own voice. Your subconscious will recognise your own voice making your visions and suggestions more powerful.
- You should never play your own recordings while driving because you will be distracted with your own thoughts.
- Keep it simple. Don’t overdo your first session. This way, it will be more manageable and easy to monitor.
