Glenn W. Turner founded his first company, Koscot, a cosmetic company in the late 60s and early 70s. Every time Mr. Turner would speak, his staff would take down notes of what he was saying. This is how the company Dare To Be Great came to be.
The song with the title “Dare to Be Great” says that success is a state of mind.
Mr. Turner would say, “that What we were taught to think is what we produce. The only difference between you and anybody in this world that has more out of life than you do” is the way you think.
Mr. Turner know that your thoughts are responsible for what you are right now. You are what you think. In the “Dare To Be Great” seminars people were taught to control their minds and changed their thoughts from negative to positive helping them create a better world for themselves and their families.
Christine from France writes:
Dare to be Great was not only a company but also a way of life. Some people in this company earned a lot, others did not, but we all wanted to be together. We encouraged one other, entertained positive thoughts, supported each other and we felt that we were part of something significant and worthwhile. We strongly believed that our positive attitudes were vital in making the company and the world a better place to be.
Mr Glenn Turner has always been my hero I still carry the 100 $ bill with his signature in my wallet. But not one comes close to the hare-lipped sharecropper’s son from Marion SC who knew and shared The Secret with the world 35 years ago.
If given the chance, I’d be happy to work with Glenn Turner again. I’m 56 now, but I’d love to hear him say “let’s go – you can do it!”
